Hello,

So I've had my BMW 530i and i recently fixed my water leak so i deiced to get a new mpm because my old one got fried by sitting in water. i bought a used mpm which has a different part number then the previous one and when i plugged it in and the screen didn't come on but some time there are lines on the screen like its about to come on but when i try to reset it nothing happens. so I've read a little about the issue and some people say it needs to be reprogrammed is there anything else i can try before getting it reprogrammed or will the reprogram work.

Please help.
